Designer and Founder : Randi Chervitz
Inspiration : Crochet, textiles, her grandmother
What you should know : Crocheting traditionally uses materials that are easy to manipulate, such as thread or yarn, but Randi preferred a different medium; polished and oxidized sterling silver. To recreate the pattern, Randi solders the silver, line by line, until it creates a sculptural form. This will lie under the finer wire of the crochet-work and result in jewelry that's delicate, yet structurally sound.
Although the uncommon designs are beautiful, Randi's crocheted jewelry also pays homage to the woman who introduced her to fabric work. Every time she lovingly stitches the precious metal, Randi relives the time she spent with her Grandmother.
Randi weaves sterling silver and pearls to craft distinct and intricate jewelry.
