“Designed by women for women.” Not a traditional statement in the jewelry world, but one that should be recognized. Founded by a mother and two daughters, Anita, Myriam and Patricia, Gumuchian is not only owned by women, the entire office is run by women as well. Recently recognized by the Women’s Jewelry Association with the Corporate Hall of Fame award, Gumuchian makes me proud to be involved in an industry that is always growing and evolving. It also makes me excited to see women excelling in what is usually considered to be a male dominated field and provides hope for the up and coming girl bosses in the industry.
Now the real question is what to wear while you’re busy climbing the corporate ladder? The answer is simple: stacks of gold and diamonds as often as possible. Delicate enough for day and easy to mix with other pieces, the nutmeg 3-band ring by Gumuchian has become my favorite piece. Style it with the Gumuchian daisy floating ring for a whole hand look, or wear it on it’s own for a perfect everyday style. The bands are attached underneath allowing for natural movement while also creating the on-trend stackable look.
Up the ante with the 5-band version if a few more diamonds is a more your style.
