Where does your jewelry come
from?
Our jewelry is sourced from designers all over the world.
We have spent a long time traveling to different countries to find
top quality jewelry that covers a broad range of designs, materials
and styles. We also discovered how each designer has a unique story
to tell, who they are and what helps inspire their creativity. You
can read all this on the site.
On our travels, we also came across some emerging designers who
are doing exciting designs and whose product we just could not
resist showing on the site. Often these items are a limited
selection but we hope that your interest in these designers will
help get them the exposure they deserve.

I saw a piece when I was
online before, but I can't find it now. Can I still get it?
Because our jewelry is made by designers who are using unique
materials, some of the pieces are in limited supply and may not be
easily available once they are sold out. Some product is noted as
one-of-a-kind and the designer has made only one of that item.
If there is something that you saw, please contact us by email,
help@jewelista.com or call
1-800-480-3016 and we will investigate whether or not the piece may
be available and then it would become a special order. We would
like to help out wherever it is possible.

size not carried in regular inventory. Please contact us for

Can I place a
special order for something not usually offered on the site?
We are happy to place special orders for merchandise not usually
offered on the site. Please email, help@jewelista.com or call us
at 1-800-480-3016 with your request and we will do the best to
accommodate your needs. When you place a special order we will
contact the designer to confirm that the product is available to
your specifications. Once we know this we will contact you to
confirm the time it will take for the piece to be made and the
final price. If you approve, we consider that you have made a
commitment and that you understand that this item is not
returnable, it cannot be exchanged and there will be no refund
given for the item. Special orders may be cancelled, in writing, by
emailing help@jewelista.com
only within 48 hours of the order being placed.

Do you have a warranty on
your jewelry?
We have a one year warranty on the workmanship of all jewelry.
All our jewelry goes through strict quality control examination so
we do stand behind all the product we sell. The warranty covers
workmanship but not damage due to wear and tear or abuse. If you
damage a piece, we will send it back to the relevant designer for
repair, in which case there will be a repair charge. However, if
you have the piece repaired, resized or altered by another jeweler,
the warranty will no longer be valid as we cannot be sure that
another jeweler will know how to deal with the material used in the
product and irreparable damage could have been done to the piece.
We have strict Quality Assurance, so any piece that is deemed to
have workmanship issues will be repaired or replaced, within the
warranty period, at no charge. If you have a problem with your
piece please email us at service@jewelista.com.

What if a silver
piece tarnishes?
All silver will tarnish eventually. Some designers rhodium plate
their silver and this slows down the tarnishing process. Some
designers like to express their design using the natural patina of
silver and their pieces are not rhodium plated. These may show
signs of tarnishing earlier but the length of time will depend on
your own skin chemistry and where you live. The closer to the
ocean, the more quickly silver will tarnish.
Silver is a very popular metal right now and there are many good
silver cleaners on the market that will help remove or minimize
tarnishing.

Are your diamonds and gems
ethically sourced?
Jewelista.com has a zero-tolerance policy toward conflict
diamonds. We adhere to and enforce the standards established by the
Kimberley Process which tracks diamonds from mine to market to
ensure these diamonds come from legitimate sources and so prevent
the trade of illegal diamonds.
Diamonds are mined throughout the world, including major mines
in Australia, Africa, Russia and Canada. Diamonds are a major
source of good in many African nations, employing and providing
healthcare to thousands. For more information on this issue, please
visit DiamondFacts.org.
All designers whose product is featured on the site have
likewise committed to adhere to the Kimberley Process In addition,
all designers have agreed not to supply any gemstones that are of
Burmese/Myanmar origin.
